This is the main cover of my school magazine. The cover page displays a student at the school annual play. This Magazine is based on the events presently taking place in the school and the ones that are going to take place in the near future. This Issue will give students the opportunity to stay updated and take part in events.

Chosen Brief

My Brief for As is PRINT It consists of two tasks.

                Preliminary exercise: using DTP and an image manipulation program, produce the front page of a new school/collage magazine, featuring a photograph of a student in medium close-up plus some appropriately laid-out text and a masthead. Additionally candidates must produce a DTP mock-up of the layout of the contents page to demonstrate their grasp of the program.

                Main Task: the front page, contents and double page spread of a new music magazine.

I chose this brief because i had an interest in magazines since very long and know when i got a chance in my media class so i wanted to learn all the ways to create one myself.

My First Media Class

My  First Media Class was on 7th September 2012. In the first class we were explained a simple project of making a five slide clip featuring any music magazine using prezi.com.

      

     Prezi is a Hungarian software company, producing a cloud-based presentation software and storytelling tool for presenting ideas on a virtual canvas. The product employs a zooming user interface, which allows users to zoom in and out of their presentation media, and allows users to display and navigate through information within a 2.5D or parallex 3D space on the Z-axis. Prezi was officially established in 2009 by co-founders Adam Somlia-Fischer, Peter Halacsy and Peter Arvai.

      

              This Project seemed to be tough initially but concluded to be a very enjoyable assignment. i took information, pictures and even Youtube clips in order to create an impressive one, after some search and half an hour latter the final look of the project was something like this.
